A Year In Review {Animal Shelter}

I have been volunteering at KC Pet Project for over a year now. Although there have been many times I’ve broken down, words really can’t even begin to express how rewarding this experience has been for me so I’ve created this slideshow. I’ve searched for years to find a place I could volunteer and give back in a meaningful way. I’m blessed to use my gift to help a cause so near and dear to my heart.

I was so excited to put this slideshow together to highlight some moments at the shelter from 2013. I was overcome with emotion for so many reasons as the slideshow played through. I am proud to be part of an amazing organization that works INCREDIBLY hard to save animals and that care about the well being of the animals that temporarily reside in its care.

Nearly 8,000 animals go through the doors of KC Pet Project alone and that is just ONE animal shelter in this huge world. It is challenging to look into the eyes of all the innocent animals that are homeless but I promise to keep fighting for you! PLEASE consider adoption when making the decision to add a family pet and/or volunteer at your local shelter!
