ADAM AND MEGAN ARE ENGAGED

I am so excited to share that Adam and Megan are engaged!!  As soon as I started shooting,  I immediately noticed how comfortable the two are in front of the camera and with each other.  They love each other so much that they required very little direction from me at all.  They were a dream to photograph and it makes me even more excited to document their special day coming up in December.

Here is Adam and Megan’s engagement story as told by Megan

“The Bench- Our engagement story”
I had my eye on an antique bench for several months. I knew it was out of our price range and neither one of us had a home to put the bench in which is why we never even thought twice about actually buying it. Around mid-May, I saw the bench again and could not believe it was still for sale and even better, seriously marked down in price! But still, I told Adam I did not want to buy it because we did not have a home for the bench. On June 6th, my whole family was in town for my “white coat” ceremony for dental school. Adam, my parents, and younger sister all spent the whole morning at this ceremony and then touring the clinic where I would be working for the next two years. On our ride home, I was complaining about how tired I was and that I need to go directly inside to take a nap. As we pulled up to the front of the house, I noticed the antique bench I had been dreaming about sitting on the front porch. I immediately started crying in the car because I thought it was so thoughtful and sweet that Adam had remembered and got the bench for me as a present. I had no idea what was about to happen. My older sister even came out of the house with a camera and I still never thought that Adam was about to propose:) I walked up to the bench and sat down and immediately asked Adam “where in the world are we going to put this bench?!” That’s when Adam got down on one knee and proposed. I instantly started sobbing so hard I couldn’t even see the ring! Even better, my family was catching the whole thing on video. It was an extremely special moment that I know neither one of us will ever forget.
