The Hendrickson Family {Kansas City Family Photographer}

Danielle and I met at a photography workshop last year.  She is also a very talented graphic designer  so I asked her to design my logo this year….which I love!  I was very excited when she asked if I would take pictures of her family.  Here are some of my favorites from our gorgeous session...

Reese {Kansas City Child Photographer}

I can’t believe Reese is ONE!  She is growing up before my eyes (and camera).  Reese is a very active one year old and was MUCH more interested in the water at Kauffman Gardens than having her picture taken.  Reese has the prettiest blue eyes, golden curls….and a big personality as you will see!  I...

The Armstrong Family {Kansas City Family Photographer}

Chad is from my hometown of Paola, Kansas.  He and my brother were best friends growing up so he is like my other little brother.  It’s hard for me to believe (or accept) that I am old enough to be photographing his family!  Chad & Julie have two beautiful children, Logan and Meghan.  As with most...

Daniel & Madelyn {Engagement}

We had a gorgeous day for Daniel & Madelyn’s engagement session!  I am so excited to capture this loving couples upcoming June wedding.   We had our session at Shawnee Mission Park which is one of my favorite spots in Kansas City.  Thank you Daniel & Madelyn (and Madelyn’s AWESOME mom, Charlotte) for spending some...

Marc & Cat’s Baby Shower

My dear friend Cat & her husband, Marc, are expecting a baby girl in April.  Here are a few pictures of the decorations and parents-to-be.  I incorporated some baby pictures of the couple, inspirational poems, pretty paper from Paper Source, and some projects from Pinterest!  I am so happy for Cat & Marc as they...

Get to know me!

I have always been more interested in capturing everyday moments and genuine emotions of people and this is reflected in how I photograph my clients. I will always prefer laughter instead of a cheesy smile. I will always prefer to leave the disney band-aid on the scabbed knee instead of photoshopping it out. I will always prefer the image of you gazing at your dog as he wags his tail and kisses your face despite how 'fat' you feel. Time goes REALLY fast so choose to live in the moment and I would love to capture it for you!
