The Davis & Schiller Family | Kansas City Family Photographer

Leona and I have been friends for many years going WAY back to our Kansas State University days.  Leona and David had a baby girl earlier this year and wanted some family photos so we headed up to Antioch Park.  Our session started out a little rough with patchy rain and cloudy skies but the...

The Coleman Family

Meet the Coleman family!!  Mom, Whitney, warned me ahead of time that Rowan doesn’t stop moving and she wasn’t kidding! Rowan was very interested in his surroundings but we managed to snap some great posed and candids of him between running up and down the paths of Kauffman Gardens.  Rowan made a few friends on...

The Klinge Family | Kansas City Family Photographer

Candice is constantly posting the most precious pictures of her daughter and dog on facebook.  I know that Tess and Bella are BFF’s so it just made sense to include Bella in our session this year.  It didn’t take long for their friendship to show and I started snapping away.  Tess is at an age...

The Crain Family | Kansas City Family Photographer

I met Lisa through the animal community.  She is a foster home for one of the rescues I volunteer for and needed a picture for one of her dogs.  We have stayed in touch and was delighted when she mentioned a family session!!  The Crain’s decided to have their session in the West Bottoms and...

The Singletary Family | Kansas City Family Photographer

Get to know me!

I have always been more interested in capturing everyday moments and genuine emotions of people and this is reflected in how I photograph my clients. I will always prefer laughter instead of a cheesy smile. I will always prefer to leave the disney band-aid on the scabbed knee instead of photoshopping it out. I will always prefer the image of you gazing at your dog as he wags his tail and kisses your face despite how 'fat' you feel. Time goes REALLY fast so choose to live in the moment and I would love to capture it for you!
