CHRIS + DANELIS | INTERCONTINENTAL WEDDING | DECEMBER 2, 2017
It’s always a gamble getting married in December with Kansas City weather we could not have asked for a more sunny and mild winter day for Chris and Danelis! This couple chose the InterContinental for their venue which overlooks the Country Club Plaza. This area is my favorite part of Kansas City and I’ve never photographed a wedding at the InterContinental so my excitement has been building since I booked these two! The hotel was decorated for Christmas and the plaza lights illuminated the night sky.
Once the bride and groom were dressed we headed to the iconic Loose Park for portraits. The backlighting was soft and golden which helped create amazing images for the beautiful couple. The ceremony and reception were held in one of the gorgeous ballrooms inside and were the perfect setting to celebrate Chris and Danelis.
