Jeff + Sally | Pilgrim Chapel Wedding

I couldn’t wait to photograph this wedding! Jeff and Sally are the sweetest couple and I just knew it would be a special day as two families joined together.

Jeff and Sally were married at Pilgrim Chapel on June 9, 2016. It’s the most beautiful and quaint little chapel. Afterwards, family and friends headed to Lidia’s for the celebration.

I asked Jeff and Sally about their wedding day and here is what they had to say!

WHAT WAS YOUR FAVORITE MOMENT OF THE DAY?
1.The time before the wedding getting ready with my sister and daughter. 2.Portrait time with Jeff and I. 3. During the ceremony, lighting the unity candle and feeling the spirituality of the moment. 4. Everyone gathering in front of the church afterwards and celebrating!

WHAT INSPIRED YOU DURING THE PLANNING PROCESS?
We wanted a smaller wedding that was traditional. Our pastor suggested Pilgrim Chapel and we felt it was perfect. It was simple yet classic. We got engaged at Lidia’s and that was our first choice for the reception.

ARE YOU GLAD YOU HAD A FIRST LOOK?
Yes, and glad to have that time before the wedding alone to take pictures and calm the nerves.

WHAT ADVICE DO YOU HAVE FOR COUPLES PLANNING THEIR WEDDING?
Keep it as simple and stress free as possible! Kick back and enjoy your day!

DID ANY VENDORS EXCEED YOUR EXPECTATIONS?
Pilgrim Chapel– Katherine is the best! I can’t say enough about her kindness, responsiveness and flexibility.

Dolce Bakery– So easy to work with and we loved our cake!

Photography- The pictures were amazing! So many good ones and she captured the day just was we wanted. Kaye’s organizations and attention to detail are second to none!

Get to know me!

I have always been more interested in capturing everyday moments and genuine emotions of people and this is reflected in how I photograph my clients. I will always prefer laughter instead of a cheesy smile. I will always prefer to leave the disney band-aid on the scabbed knee instead of photoshopping it out. I will always prefer the image of you gazing at your dog as he wags his tail and kisses your face despite how 'fat' you feel. Time goes REALLY fast so choose to live in the moment and I would love to capture it for you!
