TERESA + CHRIS | OLDE MILL EMPORIUM WEDDING

TERESA + CHRIS  | OLDE MILL EMPORIUM WEDDING

Teresa + Chris were married on November 5th at Olde Mille Emporium in Parkville, MO.  It was a sunny and beautiful day for these two as they said their I do’s surrounded by friends and family.  Teresa and Chris have so much love for each other which really showed in their bride and groom portraits.   Between the dreamy golden sunset and lovely couple, I couldn’t have asked for more!

It was a privilege to document this wedding and spend it with very special people.   The entire day was perfect but one of my favorite parts of the day was the bridal party bringing so many laughs making for some fun memories.  I wish Teresa and Chris so much happiness as they begin this new journey as husband and wife!

Q:  What was your favorite moment of the day?
A:   Taking pictures with my husband and the bridal party.  It was time with our closest friends just hanging out and joking around while taking pictures.

Q:   What is some advice to couples planning their wedding day?
A:  Remember the day is about the two of you and that is all that matters.

Q:  What inspired you during the planning process?  How did you choose your venue and decorations?
A:  My wedding was based off of my bouquet.  I found it on pinterest and went from there.

Q:  Is there anything you would do differently when planning or on the day of your wedding?
A:  It isn’t traditional for the bride to speak during the toast at the reception but I do wish I would have because the evening went by quick.

Get to know me!

I have always been more interested in capturing everyday moments and genuine emotions of people and this is reflected in how I photograph my clients. I will always prefer laughter instead of a cheesy smile. I will always prefer to leave the disney band-aid on the scabbed knee instead of photoshopping it out. I will always prefer the image of you gazing at your dog as he wags his tail and kisses your face despite how 'fat' you feel. Time goes REALLY fast so choose to live in the moment and I would love to capture it for you!
