From newborn sessions, to the NICU, to baking cookies at home, I’ve documented some amazing moments with this family! I remember meeting Sophie for the first time back in 2012 and I just fell in love with her. Her chubby rolls were irresistible and she was so happy! During one of my photo sessions when Sophie was a toddler Marc had lifted her up and it turned out to be an amazing picture. So, each year we started a tradition of re-creating that same picture. I don’t know how long he will be able to keep it up, but it’s fun!
In 2014, Deacon entered the world prematurely and spent months in the NICU. The family remained so strong and positive and Deacon eventually came home. He has continued to meet markers and is quite a little miracle!! I just love seeing him each year and is growing so fast!!
Throughout the years, I look forward to seeing this family each year. One of the most rewarding parts of this ‘job’ is watching families and kids grow. Their personalities change each year and it’s truly so much fun! I am so thankful I’ve been chosen to document this family and nothing makes me happier than to see my images up in their home for them to enjoy!
