Wardrobe Tips

• Be comfortable!  If you can’t move freely or don’t feel confident, choose something different.  Being uncomfortable shows in your pictures

• Let one or two people wear pattern/prints and coordinate the rest of the family members around them
• Avoid everyone wear the same color. You will all blend together. Contrast and coordinating is a better choice!
• The same applies with pets. If your dog is black, avoid wearing too much black. You will blend in with your dog. Try to add some coordinating and contrasting colors from your dogs coat.

• Choose items with good color, texture & accessories
• Avoid all black and all white
• Coordinate….don’t match

• Let your outfit reflect your personality
• Trendy, preppy and classic choices never go out of style
• Avoid florescent colors. They can be reflective and change skin tone color

• Baggy clothes can have an unflattering appearance in photos
• Avoid excessively tight clothing. Form fitting is great, but too tight isn’t

• Natural/earth tones coordinate great for outdoor and natural locations
• Vibrant colors (avoid florescent) work great for urban and downtown locations
• Iron your clothes

• Test outfit(s)- sit, stand, move arms in various positions in front of  the mirror. Many of my poses include movement
